Farm-to-Table Executive Chef

Description

La Collina Inn seeks a creative and passionate Executive Chef to lead our kitchen. The ideal candidate will focus on seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients to craft authentic Italian dishes that celebrate Tuscany’s rich culinary heritage.

Responsibility

You will oversee all kitchen operations, design seasonal menus, manage staff, and ensure a memorable dining experience that reflects our commitment to farm-to-table cuisine.

Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish
Design seasonal, locally-inspired menus highlighting Tuscan ingredients
Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and culinary excellence
Manage inventory, food costs, and relationships with local suppliers
Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards
Collaborate with inn management to create special dining events for guests

Qualifications

We are looking for a chef with deep knowledge of Tuscan cuisine, leadership experience, and a passion for sustainability and local sourcing.

Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in boutique hotels or farm-to-table restaurants
Culinary degree or equivalent hands-on training
Expertise in Tuscan and Italian regional cuisine
Strong leadership, team-building, and mentoring skills
Experience managing budgets, inventory, and supplier relations
Fluent in English; Italian proficiency preferred
