Description

La Bella Vita Resort is looking for an innovative and detail-oriented Head Chef to oversee our fine dining kitchen. The ideal candidate will bring passion for authentic Italian flavors, creativity in menu development, and strong leadership to inspire a talented team.

Responsibility

As Head Chef, you will guide the culinary direction of the resort, ensuring every dish reflects the highest standards of quality, creativity, and consistency.

Direct all kitchen operations and maintain exceptional food quality standards
Create innovative seasonal menus highlighting local produce and regional traditions
Recruit, train, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence
Monitor food costs, portion control, and vendor contracts to optimize profitability
Enforce health, hygiene, and safety regulations at all times
Work closely with restaurant and banquet managers to deliver memorable dining experiences

Qualifications

We seek an experienced culinary professional with proven expertise in Italian and international cuisines, outstanding leadership skills, and the ability to run a dynamic kitchen operation.

5+ years of experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurants
Professional culinary degree or equivalent training
Strong expertise in Italian cuisine with exposure to international culinary styles
Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated success in cost control, inventory systems, and supplier negotiations
Fluent in English; proficiency in Italian is highly desirable
